Asatsuyu matcha is an organic Ceremonial Grade Matcha from Wazuka, Japan.
This single-origin matcha from the Okumidori cultivar is shade-grown four weeks prior to harvest, steamed and dried without rolling, then ground with a traditional stone mill. We love Asatsuyu because not only is it grown pesticide-free, it also has a velvety texture with a slightly creamy refreshing taste.
The name Asatsuyu means “morning dew.” We named this matcha based on its bright taste that makes you feel instantly more awake and alert.
