Genmaicha Kobashi is made from deep-steamed sencha of the rare cultivar Shizu-7132 and blended with organic brown rice. The cultivar Shizu-7132 is known for its distinctive cherry blossom aroma. This floral scent is thanks to a high amount of the naturally occurring antioxidant coumarin.
Grown on the Tarui family farm in Shizuoka prefecture and certified organic by Japanese Agricultural Standard (JAS). This tea is great for daily drinking or a cozy way to wind down the night.
