A smaller kyusu, hand-built at Gyokko Kiln, Tokoname.
The unique color variations of this piece are created during firing using a natural ash glaze. This color, known as yohen (changed by the fire), and the pinebark pattern create a wonderfully unique piece.
At 170ml this kyusu is perfect for a single tea serving. A ceramic strainer has been built in for ease of brewing and cleaning.
