It's the end of an era. May 1, 2019 marked the end of the Heisei era and the beginning of the Reiwa era. A new emperor, Naruhito, ascended the throne as the 126th Emperor of Japan.
Coincidentally, it's also the 150th anniversary of Japanese soy sauce company Fundodai. In celebration, Fundodai has released a limited edition soy sauce. Brewed using only local Kysuhu ingredients, like red sake and Kyushu soybeans, this sauce has a distinctively sweet taste.
Fundodai produced only 3000 bottles, and we have four. This is a stunning bottle of soy sauce—both inside and out. Get it while you can.
