This handcrafted tea strainer is made in Kyoto by Tsujiwa Kanaami—the family-owned workshop founded in 1948 and led by Wasaburo Tsuji and his son Yasuhiro. Their workshop specializes in traditional Kyo-Kanaami metal knitting techniques.
Perfect for steeping a single cup of loose leaf tea.

I've been using the tea strainer to brew sencha everyday since it arrived! It's beautifully designed and I love the color. I also loved the wrapping paper that covered the strainer's box. The order arrived quickly and had a hand written note in it!
